Messianic thread

Eight is the day of circumcision, the day of new beginning beyond the Sabbath — the resurrection day. Chet begins chesed (covenant love) and chaim (life): the fence that protects life, and the grace that gives it.

Chet's bridge-topped form is read as chuppah, the wedding canopy — and as the narrow bridge of this world. It begins both chet (sin) and chaim (life): one letter, two doors.
