Choose a verse — any verse of the Hebrew Bible, or of the New Testament in Delitzsch's Hebrew — and it is laid out to learn: each word in large pointed Hebrew, its pronunciation syllable by syllable with the stressed syllable in capitals, its meaning with the prefixes spelled out, and the King James line beneath. A Hebrew voice reads every verse at normal speed, slowly, or one syllable at a time, and the selection prints as a study sheet or a compact one-page PDF.

What each verse shows
Hebrew glues its small words onto the front of its big ones — and, the, in, to are single letters attached to the next word — so a word-for-word gloss that says only beginning hides where in the beginning came from. The tool reads the prefixes off the pointed word and puts them back into the meaning. Stress is read from the cantillation marks of the Masoretic text, so be/re/SHEET is stressed where the reader stresses it. The Hebrew is the Westminster Leningrad Codex; the New Testament is Franz Delitzsch's Hebrew translation (1877), the standard Hebrew New Testament.
