Boreh — Creator

The Creator — the participle of bara, the verb reserved in Scripture for God's making alone.
Bara never takes a human subject in Scripture — creating from nothing belongs to one Name. Isaiah wields the title against despair: the Boreh of earth's ends does not faint; He creates anew. Both traditions end their Bibles with Him still creating.
