El Mistater — The God Who Hides Himself
אֵל מִסְתַּתֵּר
The God who conceals Himself — named in the middle of Isaiah's greatest revelation chapters.
Jewish mysticism built worlds on this name — the Hidden One whose concealment invites seeking. Christian thought pairs it with the cross: God most revealed where least expected. The same verse calls the Hidden One 'Savior.'
