El Nekamot — God of Vengeance
אֵל נְקָמוֹת
God of just requital — the appeal of the oppressed to the Judge who repays.
Not vindictiveness but the cry that wrong will not have the last word. Both traditions read it as the reason humans may lay revenge down — because Someone trustworthy holds it.
