I AM — the Ego Eimi Declarations

אֲנִי הוּא

Ani Hu · Ego Eimi — pronounced ah-NEE HOO; eh-GO ay-MEE · appears 7 pictured + absolute uses times · Strong's G1473

'Before Abraham was, I AM' — Yeshua's seven pictured I AMs and the absolute claim behind them.

Isaiah's Ani Hu — 'I am He' — is God's courtroom self-declaration; John's Gospel places the same words on Yeshua's lips, both with pictures (bread, light, shepherd, vine, door) and naked (8:58; 18:6). The stones picked up and the soldiers falling backward show that every hearer understood the claim.
