Pantokrator — The Almighty
שַׁדַּי / צְבָאוֹת
The All-Ruler, the Almighty — the LXX's rendering of Shaddai and Tzva'ot; Revelation's dominant divine name.
Eastern Christian domes crown their ceilings with Christ Pantokrator; the word itself is Shaddai and Tzva'ot wearing Greek. Revelation reserves it for the throne — the name sung when history's outcome is no longer in doubt.
