'YHVH saves' — the name commanded from heaven: 'you shall call His name Yeshua, for He will save His people from their sins.'

The same name as Joshua — the successor who brought Israel into the land. Messianic faith treasures that Matthew 1:21's explanation only works in Hebrew: Yeshua BECAUSE yoshia, He will save. The Name of the God who saves, carried by the Savior.
