YHVH Mekaddishchem — The LORD Who Sanctifies You

יְהוָה מְקַדִּשְׁכֶם

YHVH Mekaddishchem — pronounced meh-kad-deesh-KHEM · appears ~7 times · Strong's H3068, H6942

'YHVH who makes you holy' — given with the Sabbath as the sign between God and Israel.

Holiness here is not achieved but received — God is the active sanctifier, and Shabbat is the weekly sign of it. Both traditions agree: set-apartness is something done to a people who keep showing up to be made holy.
