'YHVH is my shepherd; I shall not want' — the most beloved sentence in the Psalter.

A king who had been a shepherd names God with his old job. Ezekiel 34 promises God will shepherd personally; the Gospel of John presents Yeshua saying I AM that shepherd. Jewish and Christian deathbeds alike have been companied by this one verse.
