YHVH Shalom — The LORD Is Peace

יְהוָה שָׁלוֹם

YHVH Shalom · Adonai Shalom — pronounced shah-LOHM · appears 1 (altar name) times · Strong's H3068, H7965

'YHVH is peace' — Gideon's altar, built by a frightened man who had just seen the Angel of YHVH face to face.

Named by the least of the least clan, hiding in a winepress — peace given precisely to the fearful. Shalom means wholeness, not mere quiet; both traditions bless with it because this name says God Himself is the wholeness.
