YHVH Shammah — The LORD Is There
יְהוָה שָׁמָּה
'YHVH is there' — the final words of Ezekiel: the name of the city whose glory returned.
Ezekiel watched the glory leave the temple; his prophecy refuses to end until the city is renamed Presence. Both traditions read history as the long road back to this name — Revelation's new Jerusalem is YHVH Shammah in Greek.
