YHVH Tzidkenu — The LORD Our Righteousness

יְהוָה צִדְקֵנוּ

YHVH Tzidkenu · Adonai Tzidkenu — pronounced tsid-KAY-noo · appears 2 times · Strong's H3068, H6664

'YHVH our righteousness' — the name of the coming Davidic Branch, and of restored Jerusalem.

A king who IS named YHVH-our-righteousness: Jewish interpretation reads a righteous Davidic ruler under God's name; Christian faith reads Messiah bearing the Name and becoming righteousness for His people. Astonishingly, Jeremiah gives the identical name to the redeemed city — what the King is, His people become.
