YHVH Yireh — The LORD Will Provide
יְהוָה יִרְאֶה
'YHVH will see (to it)' — Abraham's name for Mount Moriah after the ram in the thicket.
Jewish tradition ties the Akedah's mountain to the temple mount — the place where seeing and being seen meet. Messianic thought hears Abraham's 'God will provide the lamb' answered at last by John the Baptist. Provision, in this name, means God seeing ahead.
