The number 6 in the Bible — Mankind
שֵׁשׁ
Man was created on the sixth day; six days are given to labor; a Hebrew servant serves six years. Six is humanity at full strength yet one short of rest — power without shabbat. Goliath's six cubits and Nebuchadnezzar's sixty-by-six image carry the number's shadow. Vav the nail is the joining letter — mankind is made to be the joint between heaven and earth, and when he stands alone the number stalls at one-short-of-seven.
