Ararat in the Bible — where it is and every verse that names it

The traditional focus is Greater Mount Ararat (39.7019, 44.2983). The text says the ark rested “upon the mountains of Ararat” (plural) — the highland region of ancient Urartu, shaded here, rather than one summit.
