The beloved of the LORD — the wolf who dwells between His shoulders
What the tribe was
'Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf' — the smallest tribe bred astonishing fighters: seven hundred left-handed slingers who could hit a hair (Judg 20:16), Ehud the deliverer, Saul the first king, and Jonathan. But Moses calls Benjamin 'the beloved of the LORD' who 'shall dwell between his shoulders' — and Jerusalem's temple mount lay on Benjamin's border. Mordecai and Esther were Benjamites; so was Saul of Tarsus, the wolf who became the apostle Paul (Rom 11:1, Phil 3:5), devouring the prey in the morning and dividing the spoil at night.

בִּנְיָמִין֙ זְאֵ֣ב יִטְרָ֔ף בַּבֹּ֖קֶר יֹ֣אכַל עַ֑ד וְלָעֶ֖רֶב יְחַלֵּ֥ק שָׁלָֽל
Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.
