  1. Get the readings
  2. Read with the Study Panel open
  3. Pick one key word
  4. Take one verse through PaRDeS
  5. Make the handout

Step 1: Get the readings

Open Tools ▾ → Torah Portion. Note this week's Torah, Haftarah and B'rit Chadashah readings, and read the Portion Summary.

Step 2: Read with the Study Panel open

Open the Torah reading with the Study Panel docked to the side. In Resources you will find the people, places, commentaries, anomalies, archaeology and cross-references for each chapter.

Step 3: Pick one key word

Choose one Hebrew word the portion turns on and give it a short word study. One word explored well teaches more than ten skimmed.

Step 4: Take one verse through PaRDeS

Choose a central verse and use PaRDeS Study to prepare a question for each level. This makes great discussion.

Step 5: Make the handout

Use Scripture Exporter (Pro) to put the key verse on a handout or slide in English and Hebrew. Or print the verse from Learn Hebrew Scripture so everyone can read it aloud together.
